Testing the #Blogger #Android app again

Sometimes the only thing that hits the spot is a cup of coffee in your favorite mug.
Great when you are testing the blogger app on an HTC Android phone.

After Thought

I downloaded the latest release of the official Blogger app for Android and according to the specs. you can:

  • Compose a post that you can save to draft or immediately publish
  • View list of your saved and published posts
  • Switch account/blog if you have more than one
  • Embed an image from the gallery, or, by taking a picture directly from the app
  • Add labels to your posts
  • Add location information

The beauty of this app is you can sketch an idea out, roughly getting the text or image uploaded to your blog and (as I have done here) when you get back to your home or office you can flesh the post out. You can also edit existing posts, correct information, spelling etc. on the go. This app is a must for bloggers.

With the Blogger app for Android, you can quickly and easily publish posts to your blog wherever you are. The latest version of this app is less twitchy than previous releases. The facility to re-size photographs is a useful tool.

WARNING!  This app can however (according to the release notes below)…

“Allows the app to read from the system’s various log files. This allows it to discover general information about what you are doing with the tablet, potentially including personal or private information.
